a letter from our executive director

Everyone is welcome here. The story of each and every student at MITCH is unique – this is what makes our school great. The fibers of our community are close knit – no matter where a child is in their learning journey, they are woven in and supported by their family of peers and teachers. The intimacy of our small class sizes provides a space in which each student’s voice is heard and their identity honored. Through an engaging, exploratory curriculum, our teaching staff guides students through inclusive and worldly perspectives, growing independent, confident and empowered learners. When students leave MITCH for the next step in their learning journey, they are equipped with the critical thinking skills, empathy, and reflective capacity to continue growing as engaged and responsible citizens – ready to make our world a better place for everyone.
